I haven't touched the hash code.Īnybody have any more ideas? I've searched the forums and haven't come up with anything that works yet. Basically, this app enables users to move or transfer Wifi connection with family members or friends.
I tried renaming the FoxFi network on the bionic. FoxFi is an Android client for WiFi Hotspot or WiFi Tether. I have Verizon with an unlimited data plan (although I'm not going to use FoxFi for long periods of time). But I would really like to use FoxFi for the wireless hotspot. Only models with certain version of Androids can run FoxFi. Curious if it works since I've been out of luck with the droid line for a few years Posted via the Android Central App.
Cannot connect to the internet through FoxFi with either laptop now.Ĭonnecting through PDA net works and I get full internet access, so I know the Bionic is working correctly. For most Android phones please install PdaNet instead of FoxFi. I tried it again, with a different laptop, and it worked great, but only once. Windows network troubleshooting was no help. Index of /guitarra/files/Android/foxfi PARENTDIR, Parent Directory, , 19. I tried rebooting both laptop and Bionic, with no success. Please refer to PdaNet instead for alternative solutions. I tried using FoxFi as a wireless hotspot and it worked great, for the first time or two that I tried it (can't remember if it was just once or more than that.) Now it connects, but says NO INTERNET ACCESS. Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later no longer allows the old WiFi Hotspot mode even for Verizon phones. I have a Motorola Bionic and have installed PDANet (paid version) and it came with a link to FoxFi.
